Kristan is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with CRPO (College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario) (#11605) and Canadian Certified Counsellor with the CCPA (Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association). She currently holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University. Kristan comes with years of experience in Applied Behavioural Analysis and Behaviour Management from working at multiple health authorities in Newfoundland and Labrador.

As a psychotherapist, Kristan takes a person-centered and collaborative approach to therapy and provides integrated support to children (10+), teens, adults, and couples. Kristan’s past experiences and education have influenced her in practice to provide a holistic path comprised of compassion and support to aid her clients in navigating their issues and bettering their lives.

In practice, Kristan applies a wide variety of therapeutic techniques including using Trauma-Informed approach to care, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, and Gottman Method for Couples. To ensure quality of treatment delivery, Kristan engages in external supervision with a Registered Psychotherapist.

Kristan believes in fostering skill building and creating a positive toolbox of coping techniques exclusive for everyone’s specific needs. To Kristan it is of utmost importance that her clients seeking therapeutic intervention experience a safe and non-judgemental environment to share and heal. Lisa is a Canadian Certified Counsellor, Registered Nurse, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional who specializes in supporting persons impacted by trauma (physical, psychological, sexual, childhood), ADHD, depression, anxiety, grief, chronic pain and illness, postpartum depression, substance use, disordered eating, body image, intimate partner violence, relationship concerns, burnout and compassion fatigue.

Amanda is a registered social worker with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Social Workers (registration # 3449) and a member of the Canadian Association of Social Workers. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work (University of Manitoba) and Master of Social Work (Dalhousie University). Amanda holds certificates in Narrative Therapy and Dignity Therapy. She is trained and experienced in the areas of grief, loss, and trauma.

Amanda has spent much of her 16-year career working with older adults and in the areas of health care, in Indigenous mental health, and in the nonprofit sector. She is passionate about supporting individuals in the areas of aging, end-of-life and serious illness, grief and loss, and caregiving. An Indigenous social worker from a northern community, Amanda has worked with Indigenous people from rural, remote, and urban communities.

Amanda takes a curious and collaborative approach to counselling. She uses a trauma-informed and holistic lens that emphasizes cultural components, safety, and empowerment. Nathan continues to further his knowledge in the mental health field through professional development.

In practice, Nathan values using a person-centered, trauma informed approach to therapy with emphasis on fostering a sound therapeutic relationship with adolescents (10+) and adults. He also believes in creating a safe and non-judgmental environment in collaboration with the client to navigate through their journey to healing.
